Ways To Prevent Kidney Infection

There are many ways a person could help prevent their kidney from infected by bacteria. And the main focus or goal to achieve that is to always keep urethra and bladder bacteria free. Below are some advices which could help.
Drink plenty of water
Drinking a lot of water will help by flushing any bacteria out from the bladder and also from urinary tract. Consuming cranberry juice could also help prevent UTI (urinary tract infection), however it is advisable not to if you are taking any medicine that help prevent clotting of blood.
Treat constipation accordingly
Constipation will increase the risk of bacterial infection on Urinary tract which could then infect the kidneys. It is recommended that a person with constipation should consume a lot food which contain high fibre and also drink plenty of water.
If the symptom does not subside after 14 days, please consult doctor and advise them of any kidney infection symptoms. As for children, they should see doctor if their constipation does not subside within 7 days.

Ways to keep urethra and bladder bacteria free:
- Do not try to hold if you need to urinate.
- Good practice is to wipe front to back after toilet.
- Wash your private part daily and especially after intercourse.
- Drink lots of water to flush your bladder after sex.
